Halton Housing is looking to recruit an Asset Data Analyst to be based in Widnes. This is a full time, permanent role offering a salary of £25,539 - £30,046 per annum.

As our Asset Data Analyst, you will oversee the accurate collection, recording, and reporting of the asset data within our QL system to support investment and maintenance decisions and our 3-5 year planned and improvement programmes of work. You will also analyse and interpret our asset information to prepare periodic reports to identify missing stock condition data. Review decent homes performance and produce reports in order to validate decent homes.
Principal Accountabilities of the Asset Data Analyst:
- Manage and maintain the primary asset management data system within QL. Ensure processes are in place to maintain asset data in a fit for purpose state and available to teams who need to access it across Halton Housing
- To be the lead for the SHAPE (Savills Housing Asset Performance Evaluation) tool, overseeing that this is up to date with Halton Housing key data to support the delivery of our key strategies
- Ensure the availability and accuracy of asset data to support the activities and of the Asset Management Team and the overall regulatory and legislative compliance and reporting requirements
- Responsibility for ensuring the data flow and quality assurance reporting of all stock condition and energy related surveys that have been commissioned
- Under the direction of the Head of Asset Management and Compliance, develop the asset data, investment and, reporting functionality through the implementation of new technology or upgrading of existing systems (QL Aareon).
Knowledge and Skills required from the Asset Data Analyst:
- Demonstrable experience of manipulating large volumes of data with a good standard of eduction (including GCSE Maths and English as a minimum)
- Ability to interrogate data, understand and map workflows to analyse, manipulate and interpret data using clear, informative and, concise reports
- Has good customer service and communication skills (internal and external) demonstrating understanding and support whilst handling/resolving difficult situations or conflict
- Sound experience of interrogating databases, running scenario reports, creating controls and processes in a variety of packages such as, Microsoft Excel/ bespoke system, taking responsibility to address gaps with appropriate solutions, working in collaboration with all internal stakeholders (development, neighbourhoods, customer, finance). Ability to use all Microsoft 365 packages and willing to use TEAMS
- Ability to follow defined processes and procedures in an accurate and consistent manner whilst monitoring data, identifying trends, problem solving and escalating where needed
- A good working knowledge and/or understanding of relevant legislation and regulation in the housing sector.
