Delivering contracts. Creating communities. Developing careers.

Kier Places provides a full range of property management services to clients in and around homes and workplaces across the UK. We provide specialist teams and technology solutions to help plan, manage and improve our clients' workplaces. This provides our clients with access to solutions not readily available in their own organisations. It also enables our clients to focus on their core business, while Kier takes care of the rest.

Part of our core Construction division, our Kier Places teams are experts at working in occupied properties to deliver maintenance, compliance, fire safety and refurbishment services, and help build lasting local legacies in the communities we serve.

Kier Places are recruiting immediately for an Asset Management Data Analyst with specialist knowledge of Assets and Planned Maintenance Regimes for our Business Assurance & Technical Excellence team in Basingstoke. Reporting to the Business Systems and Process Manager, this role will support BAU asset management changes, migrations, and new contract mobilisations across Kier Places.

As you will be aligned to Kier Places, which includes our Facilities Management & Housing Maintenance business streams, you will cover contracts and projects relating to social housing repairs and planned maintenance; recladding for housing association residential blocks; PFI Schools, Police & Fire Rescue Authorities; and Government, Ministry of Justice & Home Office Hard Services delivery.

Key Responsibilities

As a collaborative Asset Management Data Analyst, you will need to work with contract teams to gather & input data into Excel Data Load Sheets to support mobilisations, and provide support to contracts around business data requirements to ensure Concept is properly configured with Asset and PPM business data.

This means we will trust you to investigate data issues to identify and implement solutions in a timely manner; provide data support on asset verification and mobilisation projects to ensure data in Concept is accurate, comprehensive and loaded to timescales; and maintain the integrity of both Master and Contract Data to agreed standards and defined business processes.

This requires you to be focused in your approach so that Data Load Sheets are uploaded into Concept, in accordance with agreed processes, and that you'll manage any exceptions arising.

What do we need from you?

The ideal candidate for this position will have a background within Facilities Management or Housing Maintenance with knowledge of Assets and Planned Maintenance relating to this business area, and experience with CAFM, IWMS, CMMS or EAM systems similar to Concept Evolution. You should also have strong demonstratable experience as an advanced Excel user working with Excel import capabilities and large volumes of data - SQL would be a bonus but not a requirement for this role.

As a person, you should be highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills, and have the confidence to work with the wider business to support their requirements for BAU, and have the relationship skills to work with non-technical colleagues so you're able to gather the data & information you need from them, and vice versa.

Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to go through a Government Counter Terrorism Check (CTC) Clearance, which can take 2+ months to complete, but will take place during your employment.

What will you receive?

You can expect a competitive salary and an outstanding package that includes a matched pension scheme up to 7.5%, 26 days' annual leave + bank holidays (with the opportunity to buy or sell holiday), two employee Share Scheme options (Sharesave and Share Incentive Plan), together with additional valuable benefits such as:

One professional membership fee reimbursement

Access to Kier Rewards, our exclusive Discount Shopping Site with deals available at over 800 retailers, including restaurants, travel providers, and supermarkets

It's worth remembering that if you are successful, we'll undertake the relevant / standard pre-employment checks after you have been offered a job. This includes taking up your references, verifying your right to work in the UK, verifying your driving licence (if applicable) and a health assessment.

Due to the nature of this role, you will also be required to complete a Counter Terrorism Check Clearance (applicants with criminal convictions will be treated on a case by case basis. We do not discriminate based on an applicant's criminal record or the details of any offences disclosed to us). Some roles may also be subject to further pre-employment checks.
