Our Client is looking to hire a Commercial Data Analyst.

Commercial Standards Team is delivering a group-wide project to replace and enhance their commercial IT systems capability and associated ways of working. This includes the commercial IT systems they use to manage their procurement pipelines, for sourcing, for managing their contracts with their supply chain (and customers), for tracking commercial benefits and savings, for identifying and managing supply chain risk, and for strategic supplier relationship management.

Some of their systems are now live and you'll have the chance to shape the impact they have across their group. Other systems are currently being developed, so you'll join the team at a great time to help embed them in their group processes and advise on the impact they're having. The post holder will have considerable flexibility to shape the role in their image, and to interact and influence stakeholders of varying degrees of seniority across their group.

They're looking for someone who is interested in data and reporting and has an ability to translate this information into actionable insights for colleagues. This role is a great opportunity to develop skills and experience in data and reporting in a commercial context - a continually growing and in-demand field. They can support you with training, including CIPS or supply chain risk-oriented courses if desired.

Key Accountabilities:

The post holder will manage from start-to-finish the process for assuring the integrity of data held in the systems, and lead on the development of ways-of-working that continuously and materially improve the quality and accuracy of commercial data in their group.

This will involve:

· Undertaking spot-checks of data integrity in the systems at frequent intervals, and handling the issues through to resolution

Leading on the delivery of system-specific data assurance processes

· Acting as a single point-of-contact for assurance relating to commercial data, for their group and central government stakeholders

· Devising and maintaining a log of data integrity issues

· Maintaining a series of outputs (metrics, dashboards, reports) on data integrity in the Project Victory Commercial Reporting system

· Developing strong working relationships with data managers across their group

· Undertaking ad-hoc analysis of commercial data as driven by business need

· Assisting team members with structured and ad-hoc analysis and reporting activities in the other Project Victory systems, including peer-review quality assurance, and stepping up to provide cover in the event of absence

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:

· Shares and demonstrates the NDA values of, respect, openness, collaboration, performance, and creativity

· Data management and analysis

· Report writing, including amending communication style to meet audience needs

· Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, familiar with other Office suite programs like Word and PowerPoint

· Working understanding of UK government procurement policies, legislation, and processes

· Familiar with fundamentals of project management

· Collaborative working and development of positive relationships with fellow practitioners

Candidates should note that Security Clearance at BPSS level is required for this role. The successful candidate will be sponsored through this process by them.
