It's a really exciting time for us; as we continue to transform our business to meet our strategic ambitions we're investing beyond Insurance. We've launched a Personal Loans business to help meet more of our customers' needs while leveraging our capabilities from being a digital insurance market leader.

We've laid the foundations to grow our Loans business and we're looking for a Commercial Data Analyst to analyse our wealth of data throughout the customer journey to recommend improvements to our processes & decision models.

The Role

Reporting into the Senior Commercial & Pricing Analyst, you'll be conducting in-depth analysis and producing impactful MI reports covering the breadth of our activity in Loans. It's important for this role that you have technical coding skills and that you can present your findings clearly, while working closely with the rest of the team as you produce MI that will go right up to Executive and Board level.

Based either remotely or in our London, Bexhill or Leicester offices with flexible working available.

How you will make a difference:

Conducting in-depth analysis of data (including quote, credit, pricing, risk, digital, customer experience and in-life customer outcomes data) to recommend improvements to our credit risk and pricing models to improve commercial and customer outcomes (e.g. margin enhancement, conversion rates, customer retention)
Working with agility across our internal team and with our partners to unblock any data issues
Supporting pre- and post-live testing on pricing, website, comms and journey upgrades to ensure integrity of our journey and avoid negative customer and commercial outcomes
Sourcing the right data from the right places to ensure MI integrity (both internally and from our partners), making sure that data definitions are consistentWhat we're looking for:

Technical coding skills;
SQL to query the right data to support your analysis / MI
A technical language like R or Python to support analytics
Strong written and verbal communicator, able to explain your conclusions to senior audiences
Commercial focus and business acumen, tying your findings to business realities
Great attention to detail, able to spot errors and inconsistencies
Strong presentation skills to produce MI that is visually appealing and easy to understand
Eagerness to learn new skills and concepts, enthusiastic and a positive attitude
