To support growth, we are now looking to recruit a Data Analyst/Business Intelligence Developer.

This is a fixed term contract until March 2022, however there is a strong possibility of the role becoming permanent.

As an experienced MI Analyst and BI Developer you can expect:

The LMI Analyst will play a critical role in enabling, defining, and delivering management information and systems development across the group. By building strong relationships across the business, you will elevate new and improved insight that will inform key business decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Data Analyst and Business Intelligence Developer

Help write and optimise SQL database applications
Programming views, stored procedures, and functions.
Report production using SSRS, MS Excel & PowerBI.
Writing queries used for front-end applications (websites, desktop applications, or cloud apps)
Development and deployment of bespoke databases as identified and agreed.
Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases.
Handle common database procedures such as upgrades, backups, recovery, migration, etc.
Assist with the support of other Company SQL databases as required.
Maintain and develop Labour Market Information working with stakeholders across the business
Maintain and develop the Company's client databases, in close liaison with system software supplier and operational staff
Develop BI Capabilities of the team by reviewing, recommending, and assisting in the deployment of appropriate software.
Assist with the delivery of required management information to customers and partners to agreed timescales.
Prepare documentation and specifications

Skills and Experience Required for the MI Analyst/BI Developer

Proven experience using Power BI or other reporting suites such as Tableau, Qlik, SAP BI
Advanced knowledge of SQL Server 2012, MS Visual Studio, SSRS, SSMS, and SSIS
Previous experience working in a related Data Analyst or Business Intelligence role
Ability to analyze, model, and interpret data, ETL procedures
High level of mathematical ability and problem-solving skills
Full UK license and access to own vehicle
