Data Analyst - Client Reporting - City of LondonInitial 3 - 6 Month Contract Paying Upto £25 per hour PAYE (DOE)Once Settled the Data Analysts Enjoy Hybrid Working - 2 Days Office - 3 WFHThrough continued growth within this successful international Insurance corporate based in City, we are now seeking an additional Data Analyst to join their Client Reporting team on an initial 3 - 6 month contract.Requiring previous experience within Insurance, Reinsurance, Banking or Financial Services environments, the Data Analyst will undertake a range of responsibilities in this role from developing & implementing Reinsurance & Reporting dashboards and controls using Excel, Tableau or Power BI, through to taking ownership for the creation of client reports and the receipt/validation of member data, ensuring it meets compliance & service level agreements.Using various internal data sources, the Data Analyst will develop Reinsurance & Reporting Analyst dashboards, some of which will be designed to measure performance and compliance within reporting cycles. Other responsibilities include the development or enhancement of digital monitoring tools to allow pro-active monitoring and measurement of core Reinsurance & Reporting processes, the analysis of trends and the performance of each pool/captive programme, the presentation of results to clients and the identification of any issues that may prevent reporting deadlines being met - assisting in the development of appropriate solutions.Preferred Skills & Experience:

Related work experience as a Data Analyst or Financial Analyst undertaking Client Reporting or Data Analytics within Reinsurance, Insurance, Financial Services or Banking type environments.
Excellent proficiency with advanced Excel skills - VLookups, Pivot Tables etc.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience - ideally in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science or in a related field.
Outstanding Analytical skills with the ability to quickly summarise and distil key components of the data.
Ability to work effectively, display empathy and influence others beyond your direct control, across organisational levels, Countries and Cultures.
A proven self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative and display a high level of flexibility
Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in the use of dashboard platforms; either Tableau or Power BI would be useful.
Good standard of English with further languages skills being a bonus.
