As a member of this team, you will be key in delivering fast access to relevant and accurate information to all business users to enable the company to deliver its vision for continuously-improving, world-class manufacturing facilities.Main responsibilities:
Improvement project implementation including:

project definitiondevelopment of system architectureproject approval through justification of the expected benefitshardware provision & software development – coding, testing, etcproduction of user guide & technical documentationdelivery of appropriate training and technical support to end usersuser acceptance testingfinal sign off and handover to the end userproject management for the entire duration of the project (including progress tracking using a master schedule)
Data analysis & problem solving support to other areas of the business through timely provision of thought-provoking data to:

resolve current operational issues and challenges with equipment, processes and peoplesupport new product introduction and technology development projectsfix the root cause of the problem
Initiate and implement changes that improve our production processes using lean and six sigma techniques
The PersonTechnical Skills
Graduate level education or equivalent experienceKnowledge of the following:

SQL (essential)Python (or other general-purpose programming languages, essential)Database design experience (desirable)MS Excel VBA (desirable)
Inquisitive with a strong problem-solving ability (eg RCA, DoE, etc)Knowledge of Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing methodologiesKnowledge and understanding of manufacturing operations in a semi-continuous batch environment
Personal Skills
Able to communicate, engage and motivate all levels of an organisation (internally and externally)Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, ability to sell ideasCapable of gaining credibility and trust quicklyPro-active and able to act on own initiativeAble to constructively challenge existing habits, behaviours and thinking to change the culture
