Description:

Our client is seeking an experience Data Analyst Engineer to Perform 'Health Checks' on sites, including analysis of Biomedical technical activities, documentation and overall performance. You will also provide general technical support and troubleshooting for users of the CMMS and other systems which fall within the Technical Support remit. You will be covering a region spanning Theale, Southend, Harlow, and London. However they will occasionally do site visits further up North - e.g. North Wales and the Greater Manchester area.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilise advanced Excel techniques to develop KPI reporting tools and aid in the reporting of other Technical Support activities

  • Perform 'Health Checks' on sites, including analysis of Biomedical technical activities, documentation and overall performance in close coordination with the UK Quality Manager

  • Data mining a variety of sources, such as the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), to produce reports and identify areas which require further attention. For example, providing the raw data for site 'Health Checks'

  • Provide general technical support and troubleshooting for users of the CMMS and other systems which fall within the Technical Support remit

  • Carry out routine database maintenance and assist in upgrades upon new version releases

  • Pursue and manage assigned projects to improve existing business performance and promote new business areas

  • Prepare business activity reports, and operational reports as and when necessary

  • Assist with the creation and implementation of the audit database/process for new and existing customers. This will include training of auditors on location, and audit participation where necessary

  • Provide support in the implementation and maintenance of RFID tagging

  • systems for new and existing customers

  • Comply with the Quality Assurance and Environmental, Health & Safety policies, and work to maintain a high standard of customer

  • service and protect your health and safety as well as that of your colleagues, our customers, and members of the public. Promptly raise any concerns regarding potential violations of the policies

  • Undertake other reasonable tasks as directed by UK Technical Support Manager
  • Travel UK wide as needed to perform Operational duties and to obtain
  • Key accountabilities
  • Support the Technical Support team activities where necessary
  • Maintain all UK Biomed Operations systems, to keep them accurate and available
  • Maintain and develop cloud-based engineer service report and PM template storage

The person:

Essential

  • BSc/HND/HNC in Engineering, electronics, or medical technologies such as biomedical engineering

  • Minimum of 2 Years' Biomedical experience in a service and repair of medical equipment

  • Expert in using MS Office Applications

  • Excellent written and communication skills

Desirable

  • SQL Programming (SQL Server Management Studio)

  • Knowledge of SQL Programming

  • Knowledge of other coding languages such as VBA, Python, C++ etc

  • Have customer service skills and the ability to be confident in customer facing

  • Full UK Driving licence

  • Role location Based at home

  • UK travel Yes, as necessary to fulfil role
