Global Markets Quality Group (GMQG) are responsible for the on boarding of global listed market pricing data into ICE Data Services systems and downstream products. With ownership for the monitoring, symbology, validation and timely release of this data to meet product deadlines.

The Data Analyst within GMQG is focused on contributing and coordinating the smooth running of the department by ensuring all production and admin functions are carried out as effectively and efficiently as possible whilst meeting product specifications for data quality, coverage and timeliness.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a shift rota in place: 07:00 to 16:00 and 09:00 to 18:00 along with some weekend/bank holiday shifts.


  • Undertake core production on a daily basis.
  • Be aware of global daily production via GMQG systems and incident reports and directly support the team with problem analysis, intervention or remediation
  • Directly support the incoming and outgoing data procurement process including the monitoring, symbology maintenance and validation of real-time data and batch data collection.
  • Support GMQG client queries, to ensure response quality and response service levels are achieved.
  • Support as the primary owner or undertake as a contributor non-core production tasks such as Index support, market and source holiday collection or clock change management.
  • Assist in the maintenance of full documentation, identify areas of improvement and carry out quality assurance on team documentation.
  • Support the team\'s training needs at an individual level, ensure allocated training is undertaken to high standard.
  • Support a team ethic of challenging the status quo and continuous improvement through your own assessment of workflows, practices and processes and the encouragement of team members to do the same with the aim of ensuring the team continuously become more efficient and effective.


  • Degree educated or equivalent experience.
  • Computer literate with intermediate office application knowledge.
  • Ideally a sound knowledge of financial markets; securities related; and exchange-based data feeds.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and improve processes including experience of data operations and data flows through internal infrastructure and associated data validation and support functions
  • Makes a positive impression in person, via phone, and electronically; models a \'can-do\' attitude; embraces additional responsibility; refrains from office gossip or conflict; shares knowledge and is seen as someone to go to for help.
