The Business
A data management company that helps brands understand their customers more effectively by uncovering actionable insights from customer data and using this to form marketing campaigns that allows businesses to grow more effectively. This is an exciting time to be joining the company as they expand into the USA. Clients include Nestle, Carnival Group and Fortnum & Masons to name three.

The Job
You will join the company as a Data Analyst responsible for getting data into the right format, running regular reports on this data and presenting findings to both internal and external stakeholders as required.

You will join the Data Analysis Team reporting directly into the Head of Analytics and learn how to extract "the story" behind audience data and how brands identify true customer value.

Full training will be provided.

Job Breakdown
• Ensure data is in the right format read for analysis.
• Create reports based on customer data to reveal trends and patterns for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Create post campaign analysis ensuring output is accurate and answers the brief.
• Perform regular quality control on the data, documenting your procedure.
• Look to automate processes where possible.
• Create presentations to illustrate findings for clients, on occasion explaining your findings directly to the client and setting your findings in a way that makes sense to the client's business issues.
• You will be expected to be in either the central London or Cirencester office 2 days per week and can work flexibly for the other 3 days per week.

Candidate Requirements
• Educated to degree level.
• Experienced using R, SQL and/or SPSS.
• Highly numerate, an efficient problem solver and can demonstrate logical structured thinking.
• Able to express analytical results clearly in words and PowerPoint presentations.
• Capable of multi-tasking and problem solving on multiple projects.
• A proactive and resourceful individual who can work to deadlines.
• Can present data insight to non-technical people.
• Understanding of relational databases.
• A clear, concise and confident communicator.
• Effective questioning techniques to allows for discussion of options.
• Interest in marketing and consumer behaviour.
• Approachable personality comfortable working in a small team environment.

Bonus Points For
• Experience statistical techniques such as profiling, segmentation, modelling, logistic regression
• Understanding of different data sets available e.g. geo-demographics, market research surveys, online sources such as "clickstream".
