Description:

A Data Analyst within HR is required to join an automotive OEM based in Whitley, West Midlands.

The Data Analyst / HR Consultant will work alongside the Capability, Organisation and Engagement managers, Centres of Experitise and HR Business Partners providing data and insight that supports key projects to deliver on their Global Functional People Plan. The role holder will be responsible for working as part of a fluid team of flexible resource at consultant level. This role is an analytical role, focussing on finding solutions through data analysis and investigation.

Support the delivery of the functional plan in line with the overall people strategy, the business priorities and strategic workforce plans
Responsible for the scoping of data requirements for key projects. Developing tools and reports to support the achievement of project KPIs.
Providing insights into key trends to support project decision making.
Working with Centres of Excellence to understand what data already exists to avoid duplication and manipulating where required to deliver end user requirements within given projects.
Work with key teams where data gaps exists to develop solutions to bridge gaps.
Monitor and review customer uptake of data analytics/reporting. Where low usage undertaking route cause analysis and developing proposals for usage improvement.
Maintain functional dashboards and complete monthly updates.

Ability to shape direction of data projects and enable implementation, while influencing at various levels of the business

Commercially aware with an ability to understand the business functions that this role supports
Strong influencing skills and awareness of own influencing style
Strong understanding of GDPR
Desirable:

Working knowledge of Tableau and SAP
Experience of working with HR data
