The Role

  • Process high volumes of complex network inventory data to support projects
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining inventories, so that it accurately reflects changes made to the physical network, in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensures the quality and standard of network inventory data is maintained
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant internal standards, processes and procedures

Key Accountabilities

  • Undertake daily BAU tasks as directed, whilst establishing workstack priorities.
  • Prepare source network inventory data for entry, by compiling and sorting relevant information.
  • Reject incomplete, incorrect or missing documentation, using the agreed internal processes.
  • Maintain network inventory data by identifying and investigating discrepancies or inaccuracies, determining root cause, escalating issues and implementing agreed actions.
  • Follow internal processes for building or creating new network records, using internal processes, tools and systems.
  • Analyses and interprets network inventory data, to proactively identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provides subject matter expertise on network inventory data within the team and to other stakeholder groups.
  • Produces scheduled and ad-hoc reports, as required.
  • Responsible for dealing with Remedy tickets, including ticket updates, completing root cause analysis and resolving queries and issues raised.
  • Undertaking cross team training and knowledge transfer, in particular, with new starters.
  • Actively participates in workstack review activities, including identifying system or reporting requirements and undertaking testing
  • Create and maintain technical and other documentation, where appropriate
  • Update internal documents as required, maintaining an audit trail of network inventory changes.
  • Contribute to the team by meeting SLA\'s, championing attention to detail and achieving targets and outcomes, as directed.
