Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: Guildford/Working from home

We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. We need a full-time Data Analyst to assist with performing analysis and identifying valuable insights to unlock opportunities and drive informed business decisions.

You will assist with managing master data sets, defining business metrics, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues.

You will provide payment and service support to the company's customers as part of the support team. Assisting with BAU tasks to ensure the efficient and effective performance of the company's services.

As our Data Analyst you will:

* Effectively use data to tell stories, communicate key insights through internal reports, presentations and dashboards to drive business decisions

* Assist with managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion

* Check quality assurance of imported data

* Processing data and information in-line with the company's data management policies and procedures and data classification

* Helping to develop reports and analysis

* Assisting with the management and design of the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata

* Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements

* Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalisation

* Generating reports from single or multiple systems

* Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports

* Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems

* Training end users on new reports and dashboards

* Advocate service and customer excellence

* Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

* Excellent attention to detail, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written

* Degree in analytical, data science or numerical subject would be desirable

* Experience analysing data (preferably financial services)

* Adhere to high standards of professional integrity

* Ability to deal with complexity and to handle multiple tasks concurrently

* Possess high levels of drive and determination and deliver quality outputs to tight deadlines

* An inquisitive mind-set where you continuously seek process improvement

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals and success
