Our client is a fast growth start-up who have developed a market leading website where everyone can search, discover, compare and shop for furniture and furnishings, from over 100+ retailers, all in one place. They are a hugely ambitious team with brand, technology and data at its very core.
They require a Data Quality Assurance Manager to develop and grow a product quality assurance programme. In addition to the duties below you will possess a strong sense of ownership for meeting your deliverables - tracking performance to plan. You will be obsessed with attention to detail and enjoy driving tangible results.
Job Description/Duties:
Develop and grow a product quality assurance programme alongside the Head of Product and CTO
Process and analyse product data being supplied by retail partners
Enrich product data attributes and grow category product listings
Build data quality workflows and systems for effectively managing product data
Manage product data queries and reporting on data quality
Support new retail partner onboarding and set up within data infrastructure
Analyse retail partner data performance
Management of product data reporting channels
Skills and Knowledge:
· Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline-oriented role.
· Strong prioritisation and time management skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
· Data and results driven, meticulous, resourceful and efficient.
· Demonstrated ability and self-motivation to excel within an environment of change and a drive for continuous improvement.
· Proactive at developing and suggesting new ideas.
· Curious nature, not afraid to use your own initiative and find solutions to problems.
· Experienced in building data profiling reports.
· Fluent in SQL Lead data framework rollout and training, guiding Stakeholders.
· Can design and implement testing such as A/B testing and Hypothesis testing.
· Facilitated faster and immediate feedback loops on Data Quality with multiple teams such as engineering, marketing, product and operations.
· Basic programming skills are preferred but not essential for the role. Nice to have experience in Python and data analysis libraries such as Numpy, Pandas.ETL or datafiles using open source tools (Airflow, Talend, Spark SQL)
