Production of spend reports and data analysis: 3rd party, social value, categories, forecasts - in PowerBi.

Key Purpose

  • To support the Strategic Contract Manager in providing contract intelligence across the Commissioning, Procurement and Contract Management operations through the establishment and promotion of best practice commercial and procurement processes, tools and techniques ensuring compliance with regulations and securing of value for money and social value.
  • Production and maintenance of a variety of high-quality datasets, reports and presentations to meet regular and ad-hoc requirements for statistical procurement data and information, often to meet short deadlines to inform effective procurement decisions.


  • Carries out the working practices, procedures and basic operations across the strategic procurement function.
  • Demonstrate experience of applying knowledge of competitive procurement through utilisation of the appropriate policy, procedures and regulations to ensure value for money is obtained.
  • Demonstrate a high level of analytical and problem solving skills through analysis and interpretation of complex data and presenting it in a clear and concise way which helps inform decision making.
  • Able to demonstrate excellent written and presentation skills and evidence of writing reports and drafting documents in a logical and accurate manner.
  • Uses specific knowledge of commercial and business concepts and techniques in utilising analysis and interpretation of data into meaningful management intelligence.
  • Able to work well under pressure and focused on meeting deadlines.
  • Able to demonstrate an ability to plan, prioritise and manage working from a variety of sources while maintaining a high standard of quality and working under time constraints.


Knowledge of procurement is essential with a minimum of three years' experience in a large, complex organisation.


A degree in a relevant subject area or NVQ equivalent and CIPS Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply Operations
