The Role

A great opportunity to develop real analytical skills, reporting directly into our Data & Analytics Manager you will be directly involved in a mix of projects to drive forward our analytical sophistication.

With no two days being the same, you'll be working with large volumes of data, conducting exploratory analysis into our existing pricing approaches across different insurance products, and communicating key insights to senior stakeholders to support our wider pricing strategy.

You will be applying cutting edge techniques and collaborating with some of the sharpest minds in the industry to effectively deliver our prices for over 2.8 million customers.

Your remit will include the following:

Working with large datasets to identify crucial insights and trends to support business decisions

Review of pricing performance & modelling structure to find new opportunities, actioning these insights to drive business value

Keep up to date with the latest statistical and analytical approaches to effectively answer strategic business questions and maintain our competitive edge in the market

Engaging stakeholders throughout the business, gaining feedback & buy-in on the chosen approach as tests are developed

Creating professional presentations on our test performance & strategy for senior colleagues

Establish, manage and hold relationships with key partners and relevant peers throughout Commercial and other directly relevant business areas
What we're looking for:

As a leading insurer, this role is critical to our commercial delivery and success, it will be exciting, busy, varied and challenging so a hands-on approach is key. You will have some experience with pricing, insurance, or a STEM background, with a desire to drive value & change from analysis.

We would like you to have experience working with R, SQL, Python or Matlab and presenting analytical results in a non-technical way with the ability to grasp complicated concepts translating them to meet the needs of a broad range of audiences.
