Belmont Recruitment currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Digital Data & Performance Analyst to join Durham County Council's Neighbourhoods and Climate Change Service on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full time position, working 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday).

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Coordinating data and intelligence to develop an approach to service improvement and delivery that identifies more efficient ways of working

* Working with ICT and Digital Project Teams to implement and validate appropriate analytical tools

* Collecting and extracting data that is accurate and fit for purpose, working with developers to configure, test and update configurations

* Analyse data and use the analysis to create evidence-based data sets to share with Service Managers

* Ensuring data collection is of a high standard and accurate

* Leading in the provision of data and intelligence in relation to the Performance Management Framework


* Previous experience of working as a Data Analyst, ideally within a Public Sector environment

* Experience of using statistical techniques

* Strong numerical and analytical skills and the ability to produce reports and data visualisations

* Excellent communication skills
