We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst to join our expanding Sustainability team based at our Bardon Hill Head Office in Leicestershire. We are a driven team seeking to position Aggregate Industries as an industry leading company when it comes to sustainability therefore you will be a self motivated, proactive individual with a passion for sustainability.

About the role

Reporting directly to our Sustainability Director you will be responsible for developing and managing the data collection and analysis of sustainability data within Aggregate Industries, which is critical to drive improvements in performance.

Other elements to the role include:

Develop and manage data collection and analysis of Aggregate Industries sustainability performance

*

Utilise a variety of software tools to extract and rationalise data

*

Design and configure quality control processes to ensure data accuracy is of the highest standard

*

Analyse data and processes to identify opportunities for improvement, as well as devise action plans and identify innovative solutions

*

Contribute and promote continuous improvement by generating ideas to improve our sustainability performance

*

Lead ad hoc projects to make data processes slick and efficient and/or improve the quality of data

*

Utilise statistics and data visualization skills to report on results of on-going sustainability performance and projects

*

Work with a wide variety of stakeholders within the business to discuss trends and identify ways of improving sustainability performance

*

Stay up to date with industry standards and recommend solutions to ensure consistent improvement of the quality of sustainability data

*

Manage and co-ordinate the production of the annual sustainability report

*

Prepare monthly divisional sustainability performance reports

*

Work closely with a range of internal teams to ensure new initiatives relating to sustainability data can be implemented

What will you bring?

A thorough understanding of data processing and analysis

*

Minimum 2 years experience of working as a data analyst

*

Proven excellent technical and quantitative skills (data fluent) and a creative and innovative mind

*

Good business acumen and ability to think strategically across the organisation

*

Excellent communication, influencing and networking skills with the confidence to inspire and motivate people

*

Passionate about sustainability

*

Ability to build confidence and trust with senior leadership teams
