With a number of exciting new NPD launches across Major Grocery retail in 2021 we are looking for someone to help maximise sales in existing accounts and take ownership of launching new accounts. What is the role?

The MIGHTY Data Analyst will oversee the corporate reporting suite ensuring that all sales and marketing data is fed efficiently into the department and all reports are delivered accurately and efficiently to the management team.

As MIGHTY advances it's data capability within the UK and Europe region, there is a need to find a person who can provide valuable insights and analyse data to recognise trends and behaviours to support the function of a new team within the business.

This role will focus on producing analysis that supports understanding of past performance of the business and helps to forecast and predict future trends. Identifying these trends and being able to translate them into actionable recommendation will be integral in driving the regional strategy as well as wider strategy, and helping to gain market share in an ever-competitive market.

This role will provide a support function to the Digital & Insights Manager, ensuring that all corporate, sales and marketing reports are maintained and anomalies are raised to management.

To oversee the collection, extraction and analysis of data from the sales and marketing teams as well as other ad-hoc reporting as required.

Report creation including manual report creation using Excel and exporting data from multiple platforms into corporate reports.

About The Job

  • Using your analytical mindset, you will be responsible for the execution, performance and reporting for all digital channels and sales activity for the business.
  • Ensure all reporting and management information is provided in a timely manner.
  • Oversee and maintain updates to the corporate suite of reports including, but not limited to sales, marketing and digital reports, particularly social, paid, sales, email marketing and e-commerce reports.
  • Provide daily reporting updates to the relevant managers and teams.
  • Ensure departmental priorities and deadlines are met.
  • Suggest improvements based on reporting figures, to help shape amends to marketing activity across email, social and events as well as the wider strategy plans.
  • Help implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Strong team player able to handle tasks independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to make decisions and deal with obscurity and re-prioritise work-load.

Who is this role perfect for?

  • Must love and be curious about data analytics and how that affects top line growth and meeting business objectives.
  • Previous experience in analyst position.
  • Well-versed in the Microsoft Office suite specifically, good knowledge of excel; comfortable in analysing data sets, formulas and pivot tables and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of tracking pixels, UTM parameters and basic code implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to analyse and draw insights from large data sets.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-pace environment.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, but also can work well in a team.
  • Ability to proactively organize daily tasks.
  • Keen problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Drive, ability to manage details, meticulousness.
  • Knowledge of GA, Social Management Tools, Power BI, 360 and CRM tools would be an advantage.
