Are you a self starter, pragmatic, inspirational and able to thrive whilst working across teams?For this role, teamwork and the ability to work well with others is vitally important. This company has a large portfolio of offshore, onshore and solar farms, which supplies a multitude of large companies.The team is small, and therefore, this role will have a wide scope, allowing you to impact technical, commercial, and management aspects.Ideally, you should have a degree in a relevant engineering degree with a strong analytical bias that can be applied to large scale renewable assets. Experience within the renewables industry and/or experience of best practice physical asset management would be advantageous. The successful individual will be highly motivated and have the ability to instil enthusiasm in others.The individual will need to be somewhat flexible as the individual will also need to be prepared to travel as the need arises to operational sites across the UK and to the company\'s headquarters in Europe. In addition, there is an expectation that the candidate would be required to be on call as required (likely to be every fourth week).They will also be able to demonstrate:An understanding of maximising yield and reducing losses from renewable energy assetsAn understanding of physical asset management practicesAn understanding of wind turbine safety rules/safety cultureAn ability to communicate knowledgably and effectively in a variety of forums and circumstances to a variety of stakeholdersGood IT and communication skillsPossession of a full car driving licenceActivities shall include: Data analysis, asset improvement and performance Manage and improve daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, and ad-hoc performance reporting in close co-operation with Operations Supervisors, focusing on:Data AnalysisRegularly (biweekly) check of P-V curves of all WTG\'s as early warning for WTG under performanceSeek trends in (major) component failures, build reliability profiles of componentsData Quality/AvailabilitySecure quality of data by regular check on completeness, correcting data gaps when necessarySort out data inconsistencies with metering/tradingSecure availability of data communication systems in close cooperation with technical automation departmentYieldAvailabilityLoss of ProductionMain component failures etc.Early identification of component wear etc.Cost benefit analysisPropose asset improvementsAsset Operations Performance TeamParticipate with colleagues in similar positions in Europe as part of the Asset Operations Performance Team to deliver improvements to the Asset Operations reporting and analysis services Commercial responsibilities The company manages the assets based on value based decisions, with the aim of continual improvement of the Business Case. Information management is a foundation to this approach. This position is expected to pro-actively signal opportunities for value improvement and support operational and commercial decision making with actual performance information.Activities will include:Optimise the use of 3rd party asset management software platform and standard reports as developed for the company and apply to UK Assets, in collaboration with the Asset Operations Performance TeamSupport and further develop the analysis and reporting capability based on experience, knowledge gained and advances in industry best practice Operational SupportWorking day-to-day with the asset and operations team to ensure safe, reliable, effective and efficient operation of all assetsProduction of ad-hoc reports to assist detect anomalies or deficiencies and provide solutionsDaily monitoring of the operational assets, supporting the operations supervisors to effectively manage all stakeholders interestsManage agreed contractual availability signing off process with OEM\'s & managementParticipation in the 24/7 on call rota for operation sites subject to undertaking suitable training and experience (One in every 5 weeks)Package: Salary.
