Calex is pleased to announce a new position working within the Network Excellence Reporting and Analytics team at the Jaguar Land Rover.

In this role you will be providing data administration tasks on a Learning Management System (LMS) that is used to deliver and manage all Jaguar and Land Rover retailer training globally.

The Reporting and Analytics team provides a range of support services to countries and internal business stakeholder to ensure accurate learning records within the Learning Management System which in turn are reflected within reports. You will need to execute key tasks and requests in a timely manner, demonstrating excellent communication and data skills with a flexible 'can do' attitude and approach.

Candidates will need to have a good understanding of IT, strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritise/manage workload. As the team prepare a phased roll out of a new LMS to the Global markets, there will be a need to work with both the old system and new.

Key responsibilities:

  • Complete data remediation activities in the Learner Management System
  • Maintain and continuously improve data remediation processes, tools and related documentations while keeping key stakeholders informed of the changes
  • Drive analytics into what drives the need for the data remediation activities and help identify ways these can be eliminated
  • Act as an SME for the wider Learning Services Team with data remediation queries
  • Support key system migration project workstreams (Report validation, testing new credit functionality)

Successful candidates will need to ensure that they can demonstrate they are:

  • Highly Analytical with strong attention to detail
  • Good communicator, able to effectively communicate findings from analysis back to peers, line manager, external global stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Good working knowledge of key MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel (e.g. Pivot, Power Pivot)
  • Good working knowledge of SQL (writing SELECT statements, JOINS, GROUP BY, FILTER, etc)
  • Basic understanding of data modelling concepts (how to join datasets, impact of poor joins, etc)
  • Good use of initiative and able to work without direct supervision while managing own workload and priorities on a day to day basis well as being a key team member

In addition the following skills are desirable for the role:

  • Project management
  • MS Excel VBA
  • Google Big Query
  • Matillion
  • RapidMiner

We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic and energetic people who are adaptable to change and love problem solving with data. You must want to strive to see things through to the end and have a keen eye for detail. You should be able to handle large amounts of data.

You must be based in the Midlands area as this role requires you to work in one of the offices in Lutterworth and Warwick at least one day a week.
