£280 - £300 per day
6-month contract (Inside IR35)
Oxford, Oxfordshire (Hybrid)

We are well-established not for profit private healthcare company that has been rapidly growing our share in the market for more than 60 years. Forever working increasingly hard every day to improve the lives of our patients and provide an excellent experience to all those who use our services. We are now investing heavily in a pipeline of Finance data insight projects to improve our Finance operations and add further value to our patients and clients. As such, we are recruiting for a Data analyst who will reveal areas of the finance business that need improvement and drive actionable insight, aiding our company in both customer retention and growth.

Your new role
You will collect and analyse data from various sources to create accurate reports on the company's current position and trends, present your recommendations to senior management and discuss plans to increase efficiency. Responsibilities will also include analysis of current data using software applications for presentation to the key stakeholders to support financial planning tasks. You will develop a common view across multiple data sources, defining, agreeing and documenting metrics; maintaining a dictionary of data assets. Your findings and reports will be a key driver in our company's financial efficiency plans.

What you'll need to succeed
Qualifications in relevant computer science awards and the ability to produce high quality, accurate work within the time frames set will lead to your success in this role. You will be a strong team player and work collaboratively with peers to deliver accurate and detailed reports. Your previous experience within a finance-based Data Analyst role will allow you to deliver effective and actionable results. Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and SQL/ETL experience will be necessary in this role. You will have experience in data base design, data architecture, data mining and analytics. You will be proficient with data visualisation tools such as Tableau and Qlik, experience and interest in AI development and deployment would also be desired.
