Data Analyst vacancy available! Location

Hybrid Working - will be required to go into the office on occasion
Office based in Newbury

Contract 3 - 6 months Rate £433 (inside IR35 only!) Hours Monday to Friday Job Overview Our client, a leading technology communications giant, needs individuals who understand the need to keep up with technology driven change and can prepare and evaluate data to support that change, who can seek out information that can be actively used to make decisions that drive change. Working within the MI and analytics team within IT Governance, you will specialise in analysing data and producing insight, along with developing and maintain the tool set required to manage that data. Key Responsibilities

Support the wider IT team by turning Information requests into insightful reporting that directs short- and long-term Operational plans
Maintain and develop our tool suite, including Microsoft Azure DevOps, Power BI and Power Automate such that accurate and appropriate data is available for review and analysis
Build and maintains strong working relationships with key stakeholders, gathering, assessing, and satisfying data requirements from across the business
Provide detailed trend analysis and recommendations to a broad range of stakeholders
Identifying root causes of trends and seeking to consistently improve quality of output, identifying anomalies and data accuracy issues, and developing solutions to improve overall reporting
Ensure compliance and governance requirements are adhered to
Experience needed

Experience with data manipulation, Formula creation, Charts and graphs, Pivot tables
Able to break and fix processes - clear understanding of cause and effect.
Financial experience useful
Degree or equivalent experience in relevant area (e.g., computing/programming/mathematics /statistics)
Strong working knowledge of Office 365
Understanding of data modelling and data-based solutions
Proven Experience with databases, analytical and visualisation software, and tools e.g. Microsoft Azure DevOps, Power Automate and Power Bi
Excellent Excel skills
Knowledge of Process methodologies
Experience working within an Agile environment is desirable
Ability to think BIG, but with an eye for detail (DATA ACCURACY)
Great communication and presentation skills. Equally confident with all organisational levels
Experience in the end-to-end delivery and design of data driven solutions and reports
Problem solver able to identify key patterns and trends that alert us to new opportunities
Innovative, self-motivated, goal-driven, and energetic. As at home working independently as within a team
