Purpose and Accountabilities

This role is ultimately responsible for the collection, analysis, visualisation, and presentation of data across the firm - including (but not limited to) client & learner data, Product, and internal operations & finance. The role is also accountable for the development, maintenance, and implementation of all data analysis methods & processes at the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working collaboratively and in partnership with each business area to establish efficient processes and systems for firm-wide data collection. Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of data collection/scrubbing processes.
  • Firm-wide organisation, analysis, visualisation, and presentation of data - in partnership with each Business Area and consistent with the company style and brand.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to understand data goals and identify analysis to support these goals.
  • Working within set timeframes to identify patterns & trends in data sets, to support decision-making / resource planning / CI [Continuous Improvement].
  • Development, maintenance, and implementation of data analysis methods, processes, and infrastructure at the firm.
  • Input into and support the development of Knowledge Management, databases, and other systems at the firm.
  • Communicate findings of analysis throughout the business via custom reports defined by each department and effective narrative.

Example projects:

Build and automate KPI reporting toolkit

Work with on tech transformation project to ensure data mapping is reviewed and systems set up in way to enable ease of data access.

Product scorecard and client reporting

Create client templates to present data stats such as usage and ROI on products purchased.

Key technical skills, experience, knowledge, and qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or related subjects. Strong and demonstrable mathematical / numeracy / analytical / pattern recognition skills.
  • Strong general IT skills including MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Proven experience in data analysis & visualisation tools, including Excel / VBA / Power BI / Qlik / Tableau. OPTIONAL: Python / R.
  • Strong business writing & presentation skills; able to present data analysis & visuals in a succinct, accessible, and informative manner.
  • Advantageous: Experience in using data sets from, and building visualisations in, corporate tools/databases such as SAGE (Finance), Salesforce (CRM), as well as Learning Management Systems.

Due to the global nature of the firm, occasionally project meetings & other tasks may be scheduled outside of regular working hours (weekdays only; no weekend cover required).

Full time i.e. Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week

09.00 - 17.30 (or as agreed with Manager)
