My Client is recruiting for a Pricing Analyst - this can be remote, hybrid or based in their offices based Grantham.

About the job:
The Pricing Analyst is a key member of the Global Pricing team who will support current and future pricing strategic initiatives. These include the deployment of common tools and processes, the development of proactive analytics and the execution of segmentation and price-value differentiation strategies. The role provides an exciting opportunity to join a passionate sales operations team.
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Support the sales and senior management team providing deal analysis and recommendation.
* Document and participate in the development and improvement of global processes and tools.
* Monitor and update commercial price lists.
* Support Competitive information collection and market pricing analysis.
* Create, maintain and analyse reports to demonstrate pricing trends and insights for senior management.
* Assist the field in understanding prices and costs of customer offers.
* Partner with product management in setting list prices for new products.
* Maintain pricing tools, pricing documentation and repository of historical data.
* Act as resource for all pricing related inquiries.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate previous experience of the following:
Experience and Qualifications
* The preferred candidate will hold or is studying for a level 4 qualification (or above) in a quantitative field (Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Finance) or has gained knowledge through experience.
* Preferred previous experience: 2 to 3 years in data management and analysis function
* A first successful experience in manufacturing industry is preferable
Key skills and attributes will include:
* Excellent written and spoken English.
* Strong aptitude for maths, and understanding and analysing large amounts of data from multiple sources.
* Able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience to inform decision making.
* Review pricing and deals. Assist in deal pricing optimization.
* Able to present information from analysis to functional groups.
* Good time management and prioritization skills.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills (in particular Excel and PowerPoint).
* Good initiative to follow up on and resolve issues.
