Data Analyst (Care Market)

Location: Milton Keynes and flexibility to work from home

Salary: £30,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for an award-winning organisation based in Milton Keynes. The Data Analyst will uncover valuable insights from the care provider market that if presented correctly and at the right level, could create meaningful change benefitting both the care market, customers and consequently those that need care.

Working closely with existing customers and internal account management teams, the Data Analyst will set up and run multiple research and insight topics at any one time.

Key Responsibilities:

Working within Provider Insights service and developing it into a credible and commercially valuable service offering

Identifying and delivering briefs that will benefit the customer base and/or internal teams, uncovering valuable insights into the care provider market

Engaging with large numbers of care homes, homecare agencies, and membership bodies, including on the phone, Teams, email communications and surveys, with the potential for future in person visits

Writing and publishing findings for external and internal use

Working with clients in delivering projects that require market and data analysis

Essential skills:

• Highly inquisitive, comfortable undertaking research and uncovering insights
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to write clear and engaging reports to illustrate findings
• Competent in data analysis and manipulation of large data sets
• A history of finding innovative solutions to difficult problems
• Very comfortable holding and chairing meetings internally and externally
• Knowledge of data analysis tools - you don't need to know all of them at entry-level, but you should show good skills in Excel.
• The ability to produce clear graphical representations and data visualisations.

Desirable skills:

• Strong understanding of the Health and Social Care sectors and the challenges faced
• Previous experience working within a Health and Social Care setting
• Proven experience in creating and maintaining client relationships
