NHS Supply Chain are recruiting for a Data Analyst to join the Customer Engagement team. The purpose of this role will be to model large and complex data sets using mathematical and statistical methods turning data into insight for management decision making
What does a Data Analyst do at NHS Supply Chain?
Manipulate and process data using tools such as Excel, Access, SQL and Alteryx
Identify anomalies in the data and work with end users to resolve effectively
Ensure quality standards and accuracy of data capture are robust for decision making purposes
Identify optimum outcomes through running a number of alternative scenarios and sensitivity analysis
Develop statistics and metrics to monitor and drive performance improvements
Accuracy of analysis and modelling
Identification and measurement of key metrics
What skills, qualifications and qualities do I need to be successful?
Experience in working in a similar role
Ability to prepare and present results, findings and recommendation to all levels of operational team
Advanced user of desktop applications including Access, PowerPoint, Excel
Ability to analyse complex data and statistical sets
Be able to consider multiple solutions to a problem, showing a logical process for selecting the optimum solution
Plan own workload, prioritising to meet the needs of the business
High level of written and verbal communication skills
How you'll work:
As of now our offices are open, this role will be a hybrid working; a blend of home and office working 1/2 days in the office and the other days at home.
