Fixed term contract (Maternity cover)

Working in a busy medical devices company you will have a handover with the current employee so you can get to grips with all the data requirements before they go on maternity leave.

For this exciting role it is essential you have excellent Excel skills and can do the following:

  • Vlookup, index, match, offset, if, datedif, date/time/text formulae
  • Conditional formatting
  • Sorting, filtering
  • Charts
  • Pivot Tables, charts, slicers, timelines
  • Basic VBA, macros

The role

  • Take ownership of regular operational KPI reporting, data requests, ad hoc requests

  • Turn raw data into information and insight

  • Analysis skills, data driven approach

  • Data manipulation/combining different sources/ data processing

  • Enable data driven decision making, support day to day operations

  • High quality, timely, accurate reporting, and analysis

  • Collect and organise data to provide business insight. Apply tools and techniques for data analysis and data visualisation

  • Identify, collect and migrate data to and from a range of systems

  • Manage, clean, aggregate data

  • Manipulate and link different data sets; Summarise and present data and conclusions in the most appropriate format.

The person:

  • Previous data analyst experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Advanced Excel/ Word / PowerPoint

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise

  • Power BI skills desirable

  • Self-motivated, prioritise/organisation, attention to detail
