Nansen is a blockchain analytics platform that enriches on-chain data with millions of wallets labels. Crypto investors use Nansen to discover opportunities, perform due diligence and defend their portfolios with our real-time dashboards and alerts. About the role:

We're looking for a founding Data Analyst to come join our brand new Data Analytics and Data Science team. This role is a unique opportunity to help Nansen grow and make better decisions faster by taking a lead on owning data, and analysing, understanding, and providing actionable insights. There's lots to do; some areas of immediate ownership and impact include ensuring data availability and reliability across Nansen, LTV forecasts, and customer growth (new adds, churn, retention) Responsibilities:

  • Own the data, definition and reporting on KPIs for our product squads and marketing teams, including helping identify the right metrics to optimize for strategically and bringing accountability and transparency on our progress
  • Partner with teams to help define goals for these KPIs and influence OKRs and squad prioritization in a data-driven way
  • Build the right models and tools that allow squads to build better products for our users and generate insights that help us grow faster and more efficiently
  • Help shape the overall vision for Analytics and Data Science function at Nansen, including how we grow and scale the team and capabilities
Your experience:
  • Proven track record and experience in practicing analytics in a marketing, product, or finance organization
  • Highly proficient with database, analytics and visualization technologies (e.g. SQL, BI tools (we use Metabase), Python/other programming languages)
  • Passionate about some of the following domains: marketing and attribution, customer journey and funnel optimisation, trends in tracking&measurement (front-end tracking, Attribution), growth, pricing/unit economics
  • [nice to have] experience with experiments, including A/B testing and providing guidance on topics like statistical power, sample sizes, significance and are able to make strong, data-based recommendations to marketing teams
