Data Analyst

My Global Retail Client is currently looked for a Data Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis paying up to £65,000 p/a depending on experience.

This is a hybrid working role, 2 days on site - Oxford and 3 days remote.

They are currently seeking a Guest Knowledge Analyst to join their Research & Insights Team due to major expansion plans and new development plans.

You will be responsible for extracting, reporting, analysing data and providing insights and KPI's to allow the business to make informed decisions on strategy and progress against key targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain weekly, monthly and annual KPI reporting for Membership and PCS programmes
• Build and maintain dashboards for business leaders
• Analyse a wide range of historical data and presenting findings as trend analyses which inform the business, forecast forward where appropriate
• Provide support and training around how to maintain and use reporting at a high level to other analysts across the business
• Run segmentation analysis on database to understand key driver segments and identify opportunities
• Support data migration
• When neccessary, write UAT scripts and test new developments with IT and external suppliers

Skills Required:

• 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, strategy, management consulting, investment banking or equivalent
• Ability to extract data from Salesforce and Oracle Responsys and to manipulate large data sets in other tools
• Software skills I Power BI, Power BI DAX, R statistical software, Excel and Salesforce
• Detailed understanding of guest intelligence and impact it has on business strategy
• Ability to structure large analytical problems, break them down and execute analysis
• Ability to translate data into information and clearly explain impact to others
