Data Analyst | Fully Remote | £425-450pd | Outside IR35
Rate: £425 - £450 per day
Duration: 2 months
Start date: Mid-March

Short term contract to support the analytics teams in converting existing client SQL server scripts to Python (where appropriate) or rewriting existing SQL Server processes to align with the new architecture.

Other responsibilities:

• Review the proposed architecture for the new processes and provide expert opinion on the design before conversion.
• Thoroughly document all code, ensuring documentation generation is tightly integrate with the code.
• Full coverage (where realistic) of unit testing for all code modules where clinical safety demands testing proof.

Required skills and competencies:

• Designing and managing data processing architectures for multiple clients and multiple implementations
• Data processing with Python
• Data processing in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
• Software design and development practices, including at least:
  • Unit testing (pytest or alternatives)
  • Code version control (GIT)
  • Code documentation management and writing
  • Code deployment

Good to have:

• Understanding and experience of working within NHS secure data environments
• Development of machine learning in Python
