Data Analyst

I am currently looking for a Data Analyst to come and join my client who are embarking upon a technological transformation. The Data Analyst position will play a massive role in this transformation as the data and information will be at the very heart of what they do. I am looking for an experienced Data Analyst who will be able to translate business requirements into well designed, conceptual, logical and physical data modeals and structures. As well as performing the ETL process of data integration between systems.

Key skills for the role:

• Strong data analysis experience
• Experience of meta-data management
• Experience of data quality management
• Experience of corporate and regulatory compliance
• Experience of relational data base technologies; eg Oracle, SQL Server
• Experience of relational and multi-dimensional data model design
• Experience of data mining models and statistical techniques
• Knowledge of reference data management
• Knowledge of master data management
• Knowledge of data life cycle management
• Knowledge of using QDI Compose, Replicate and Catalyst
• Knowledge of data interoperability and Integration frameworks and ETL best practice
• Knowledge of Ethical Standards Framework
• Experience of using an ITSM tool
• Proficient communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and business language to ensure shared understanding and effective solution delivery;
• A degree, HND or equivalent qualification, and/or have significant relevant experience.
