My client is an exciting hedge fund that specialises in short selling equities and are located in the heart of London. The performance of the fund has been remarkable over the last year and has led to subsequent investment which has seen the fund double in size.

They're currently looking to expand their London team by bringing in an enthusiastic Data Engineer to work within their Research team, where you will report into the Director of Research.
They have lots of greenfield projects coming up that you would be heavily involved within, they work across a varied technology stack and there will be lots of scope for you coming in.
Key Skills:
• 2+ years' experience as a Data Engineer
• Experience in Python (Django) to work on their backend service
• Excellent experience with ETL processes with third party vendors (API, Snowflake and SFTP)
• Experience with database maintenance and migrations on different cloud services (Azure, AWS & GCP), as well as a strong background with SQL.

This is an amazing opportunity for you to work for one of the fastest growing Hedge Funds in London. You will come in and be responsible for working with large data sets, deploying sophisticated analytical programs, and machine learning and statistical models. You will have lots of scope coming and have lots of collaboration with different quantitative teams.
