Job Description: Rail Depot Administrator / Technical Data Analyst
Location: Doncaster / York
Rate of pay: £24-30/hour
Shifts: Nights 4 on 4 off ; 12pm-10am or 10pm to 8am
Length of contract: 3-6 months

We are looking for a rail experienced depot administrator or a rail technician with experience of technical data management for a Technical Data Analyst role within a busy rolling stock depot.

This role will suit anybody with rolling stock experience from within; warranty, train riding, administration, quality, planning, analytics, CI, BI, data entry or project support.

You will be working alongside a team of specialist technicians on a fleet inspection project. You will help co-ordinate and organise their daily workloads. You will assist in works planning, data entry and data manipulation tasks as directed by the designated Project Manager.

Ideally you will have experience from the rail sector, in particular from a rolling stock depot. You will need to be familiar with terminology used in this environment and feel confident in being able to understand and manage technical records.

This is for a critical programme of works across fleets in service. It is crucial that the individual can accommodate a 4 on 4 off permanent nights pattern, to match that of the engineering team.

Work will be highly independent and as such we require experienced, confident individuals that are able and happy to work independently. Strong communication, both written and verbal, is essential as you will be managing outputs from projects teams across a variety of working locations.

Skills / Qualifications:
*Must have previous administration experience within the rail depot environment
*Must have strong Microsoft Excel skills - including the use of pivot tables and basic data manipulation tools
*Must have excellent communication skills and be a strong team player
*Must have excellent attention to detail - in particular within data entry
*Must be very organised and able to manage own workload
*Experience of SAP, Maximo, Nexala Equinox or any other asset / maintenance management system would be highly advantageous

Initial 3 month contract with potential to extend for up to 3 months.

Must be able to pass a drugs & alcohol test and rail standard medical.
