The Role

To provide reporting, planning and detailed analysis to support the business and meeting company reporting deadlines with a particular focus on timely and accurate reporting.

Responsibilities

Support the Senior Management Accountant to deliver information and recommendations that enables the business to identify and optimise levers at both a client and consolidated level.
Submission of ILON data to support Group Reporting deadlines
Creation of a reconciliation to local Hyperion and ILON submission to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data into Group
Oversee the production of adios in depth analysis to give guidance on more significant variances raised by Head of FP&A
Hyperion Cube data management including policies and procedures to support delivery
Completion of Management Control quarterly FACT submissions
Produce FP&A suite of reporting to Comex and other forums; namely QBR, QLF, MMM, Transco including commentary on variances and explanation of trends
Assist in consolidation of 3-year plans, budgets and forecasts
Reconciliation of ILON and Hyperion
Validation of information collated
Import of data into CODA
Compilation of Group Reporting Packs
Maintain policy and procedures as appropriate.
Develop use of information systems to improve analytical processes and information
Responsible for all assigned balance sheet reconciliations (including sensitive accounts) ensuring that they are performed as per the local and client policy requirements.
Full responsibility is to be taken to ensure compliance with the Sensitive Account policy.Skills & Attributes

CIMA/ACCA part-qualified
Management reporting
Budgeting
Financial analysis
Cost reviews with management
Highly PC literate
Ability to liaise and influence all levels of management and work with other departments.
Able to think outside own area of responsibility.
Able to challenge current procedures and make recommendations.
Logical thinker who can generate own ideas
Commercial aptitude
Highly analytical
