Finance Data Analyst, Up to £70,000 + 10% Bonus, Lovely Growing Company with fantastic culture, ASAP Start, London with some remote workingThe Company:This company is a rapidly growing fintech company. The business combines technology, process, and domain expertise to deliver a world-class finance function that supports companies from funding to growth to exit.This business is scaling at a rapid rate and due to extra demand we are now seeking a Finance Business Analyst to work with a variety of end clients. Overview of the Finance Data Analyst:We are looking for an ambitious Finance Business Analyst with experience shaping and documenting business requirements to support the client base with their platform/system requirements. You will work with the engineering team and the end clients engineering teams to deliver technology and process enhancements, including user acceptance testing and training. Understanding the software development and business process lifecycle within a financial SaaS business is a big advantage!You will need to be comfortable working remotely from a home-based office and can travel to meet clients on-site and the team at our clients office space in London.Finance Business Analyst Duties:• Work with end end clients as part of the engagement team to understand their financial workflow and control requirements and then ensure their successful implementation• Embed finance workflows and controls into the platform• Implement and work to a 'checklist' of success criteria for technology and process enhancements, which will include maximising the customer experience, minimising processing friction, embedding lead indicators of risk, and ensuring scalability• Build deep expertise around finance and accounting technology and available applications to ensure correct choices are made when seeking platform enhancements and making a buy or build decision• Gather, collate, and prioritise development requirements from users, both internal and external, translating these into technical requirements for the engineering team• Create project plans for each piece of development work, with such plans setting success criteria and including user acceptance testing• Working with the necessary stakeholders, ensure that the platform and associated workflows meet regulatory requirements.• Become the platform expert, demonstrating a deep understanding of its operation and helping others make full use of its functionalities.• Continuously look for ways to improve and drive value from the platform you are working on.Whats in yoyr DNA/Experience needed:• You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent.• Qualified accountant, ideally with experience gained in a technology-related business.• You have experience working in a start-up, scale-up, or other fast-moving environment.• Highly analytical with the ability to interpret large amounts of data from different sources.• Experience in implementing processes and technologies with minimum business disruption.• Created and delivered cross-business Standard Operating Procedures.About You• Intellectually robust, with a problem-solving, curious approach.• You are hands-on with an attitude that no task is too small for you.• Strong, robust personality, capable of responding thoughtfully when challenged.• Agility and pace with an ability to work and make decisions in an ambiguous, changing environment.• You are a team player who is compassionate, friendly, and continually seeks to empower and learn from others.• Adept at presenting complex ideas and solutions simply to non-financial audiences.• You are process-orientated and always show meticulous attention to detail.
