We require a GIS Infrastructure Data Analyst for one of Northern Irelands largest Public Body's, to assist in the implementation of the Infrastructure & Projects Directorate (IPD) digital strategy to plan and manage data systems and records, primarily via Asset Management Systems, Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Building Information Modelling (BIM). You will also work collaboratively with the Information Manager (Legal & Governance Department) and the Information Services Manager (IS Department) to deliver the strategic objectives.

As a Data Analyst your new role will include but not be limited to the following:
* Review the data and information management arrangements currently in place within the IPD
* Assist in the introduction of BIM (Level 2) compatible systems and processes for IPD
* Work collaboratively with the Corporate Information Services Department (CIS) Department to investigate and ensure provision of suitable information management systems and technologies to support IPD in respect of mobile working, data capture, data storage, data analysis, reporting and information accessibility.
* Assist in the management of the Corporate Geographical Information System (GIS) and ensure sufficient support is in place for BAU & BC, including developing and customising GIS and Data Analytics interfaces and enable integration with corporate and external data sources.
* Act as an 'Information Asset Champion' (IAC) - i.e. a point-of-contact between the IPD and the Corporate Information Services Department (CIS), other Translink departments and external stakeholders.
* Oversee the IPD use of the Corporate electronic document and records management systems and Office365.

Essential experience should include the following:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in the development and implementation of information and data management systems to support business needs
* Experience of managing, customising, analysing and reporting data in the SQL server environment or equivalent
* Minimum of a degree, or equivalent, in an Information Management, Information Systems, Geography or other appropriate discipline
* Experience of utilising GIS - detail in full for data capture, editing, analysis and reporting Experience of MS Office, specifically Access, Excel & Project
* Experience in stakeholder engagement and communications
* Experience of MS Office, specifically Access, Excel & Project
