Grad Customer Data Analyst - Blended Home / Office based role - Bishops Stortford - £35,000
MUST HAVE SOME EXPOSURE TO RETAIL/ CUSTOMER DATA, working with retail/ customer data through work placement or internship.
S4C are delighted to be partnering with a leading business in their acquisition for a data engineer / data scientist who loves analysing, organising and preparing raw data for modelling data analytics's for their successful & growing marketing team.
This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who has some exposure to retail/ customer data with Data Analysis / Processing to join an innovative team and progress their career to the next level - huge development offered!
What will the role offer you?
The role will give you the opportunity to combine raw information from different sources and apply data science techniques, summarising data and interpretation of results.
You will be working closely with members of the digital marketing teams as well as specialised third party providers to maximise the value of our client's customer database.
You will be asked to help facilitate A/B testing of offers and marketing collateral as well as playing a key role in providing support with insights and answers were needed.
You will be given the responsibility of ensuring our client's customer targeting model is kept up to date as well as ensuring mailing files produced on time and with minimal errors.
What skills will you need to get the most out of this role?
You will need to have strong SQL/ database design
Knowledge of ETL processes and the ability to use Python or R.
Good communication skills are required to enable you to visualise and present data and insights to internal and external stakeholders.
Having experience in BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI is an advantage but not essential.
Attention to detail is a must and preferably a degree in Maths / Statistics / Physics / Computer Science is an advantage.
How will I be rewarded?
This role offers on the job training, up to £35,000 per annum, 20 days holiday + bank holidays. This role will initially be based in the office so training and meeting the team can take place. However, there is a strong possibility this position may be a hybrid role where you will have the opportunity to work from home and also be based in the office several days a week (even post-COVID!)
