HR Data Analyst

As Data Analytics Consultant you will be the HR Data lead, providing timely and effective data analytics support and expertise to the HR team and key stakeholders. Your focus will be on data transformation for the function to support efficiency improvements via data driven insights.

HR Data Analyst Responsibilities:

• Engage with the business, UL HR Leadership Team and Group HR Leadership Team where appropriate to create a roadmap for analytics for the function focused on HR service improvement and insights we can draw regarding our client groups.
• Partner the HR function supporting them with requests for data and reporting from their client base.
• Focus on data and analytics best practice in the external world to develop learning and application within UL.
• Create a reporting suite that is relevant for areas of the business with a focus on continuous improvement e.g. board reports. Reports should give the HRBP and HR Directors insights to aid decision making.
• Ensure all reports and insights use the best data visualization techniques to translate data into value for the business and function.
• Maintain a rolling programme of adhoc need specific HR reporting for the function.
• Identify the most appropriate technology solutions can be leveraged to support insights and predictive analysis.
• Upskill the function in data through lunch and learns and in the moment coaching.
• Lead the function as an expert in coding and RPA.
• Be an active member of the Digital Champions network leading on things that will have an impact on People Services.
• Be an active member of the data and analytics steering group.
• Support the implementation of technology to improve the management of the People Services function which drives analytics for the function, drawing insights on the way people use the service and areas for improvement.
• Scope, implement, and manage a quarterly data cleanse process to ensure data accuracy within the HR system and T&A systems.

HR Data Analyst Requirements:

• HR Data Analytics experience.
• A strategic but hands on mind-set and an ability to articulate complicated concepts clearly and with confidence to a range of stakeholders.
• Ability to consult with and influence multiple stakeholders on strategic projects often on both design of analytics and technology to deliver solutions that meet their needs.
• Project management experience with the ability to work with HR and the business.
• Ability to design a service for reporting and analytics in line with the HR systems roadmap improvements.
• Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Commercial awareness.
• Ability to process information accurately, quickly and logically.
• Ability to manage and prioritise own workload.
• Tech Savvy - IT literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Proven experience of working in a confidential environment.
• Strong planning, organising and time management skills - able to balance priorities, work to deadlines, and under pressure.
• Coding and RPA experience is desirable.
