About the role

The HR Business Analyst will provide support to People Operations in data management, control, analytics and security. Responsible for producing through bespoke and internal systems, data and formatting to a presentational standard as directed by People Operations Stakeholders.

Working to improve data reporting through innovation and collaborative work with the IT, Innovation and Finance function.

What you'll be doing

* Develop standard suite and ad hoc reports, templates, dashboards, scorecards, against defined metrics for BBV People Operations.

* Gather and investigate data, using advanced statistical models and continuously learning about new ways to mine data and distill meaning out of the increasing amount of data available to us.

* Help us understand our internal workforce, our potential external future workforce and know how we can best manage our employees to drive real business results and value.

* Research, examine, and present data as assigned by internal stakeholders.

* Build tools to bring our workforce insights to our stakeholders at various levels.

* To provide and generate meaningful business insights from workforce data

* To play an important role in dissecting data for strategic workforce planning and talent analytics.

* Assist in rollout and implementation of HR programs, providing data and information in support to advance the change agenda.

* Ensure compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines

Who we're looking for

Essential

* Excellent MS/SQL/ excel skills and Ability to work with multiple sources of data

* Excellent Excel data manipulation knowledge

* Relevant experience is preferred, experience with data/statistical analysis is a must.

* Excellent communication skills demonstrated through a variety of methods

* Attention to detail essential and an ability to succeed in an environment of conflicting priorities.

* Proven ability to work without close supervision, a self-starter who enjoys working as part of a team but who is equally comfortable working on their own, utilising their initiative in an effective manner

* Strong organisational, planning, time and project management skills with evidence of ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining quality, accuracy, attention to detail and high standards

* Be able to convey messages in a supportive manner. Able to make timely, informed verdicts that take into account the facts, goals, constraints and risks. Balances analysis, wisdom, experience and perspective when providing solutions.

* Ability to maintain privacy, discretion and integrity in all matters, displaying appropriate judgement and initiative when required
