HR Data Analyst

Our Client is a global legal firm, specialising in risk, regulatory and M&A strategy. The firm is a trusted partner and a recognised world leader in the areas of litigation, arbitration, competition and investigations.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a HR Data Analyst for a 5 Month contract contract based in Manchester.

Purpose of the Role:

Operating as part of the Global HR team in Manchester, the HR Data Analyst supports the quality and integrity of people data for the global HR community and for senior leadership across the business.
The Data Analyst will perform a key role in ensuring that we have the correct governance processes in please to ensure optimum quality of our people data.

As a Data Analyst you will be responsible for:

Responsible for maintaining and developing a suite of reports in order to validate and assess the quality of our people data;
Manage the process of data integrity reporting and distribution with our global HR teams to ensure execution of changes;
Identify and recommend process improvements and developments to improve the quality of HR information and drive smarter reporting within the business;
Support HR teams in using self-service reports in order to analyse and interrogate data quality and information.
Design and deliver training to other HR users on data and reporting
Develop SME expertise in people data and it's use and importance across the firm;
Run regular data quality checks and liaise with HR teams as needed to ensure integrity of the data is maintained in line with global HR data definitions;
In conjunction with Global Technology & Innovation (GT&I), support system developments that will improve reporting functionality and data quality, including communication of changes to the global HR department;
Document work instructions and task execution;
Guide and coach stakeholders to fully utilise the self-service functionality;
Support the data and reporting needs of annual HR processes, including:

Strong skills in data analysis, attention to detail and accuracy;
Good self-management and problem solving skills;
Strong background in stakeholder management;
Advance knowledge of MS Excel including pivot tables, vlookup and macros;
Working knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word and MS PowerPointThis client will only accept workers operating via an or engagement model.
