Informatics Data Analyst

We are currently looking for a Senior Informatics Data Analyst to join a new laboratory based in Milton Keynes. This position is Monday to Friday (phone number removed)pm and is paying a salary of £60,000 per annum, it is initially for a 9 month contract but has the potential to be extended. The position involves being able to manage effective relationships with key stakeholders (i.e. Laboratory / Operations / IT) and provide support to the Head of Laboratories in analysing Bioinformatics Data in UKBC. The position will also involve providing admin and operational support to end users as well as supporting the LIMS Developer with regard to identifying data integrity issues, analysing the root cause and implementing a fix to the solution.

Duties and responsibilities are:

To act as a design authority for the Bioinformatics systems
To ensure systems are implemented and maintained to business requirements
Attending all internal and external data meetings
Managing relationships with stakeholders
Evaluating technology solutions and determine suitability
Report to the Head of Laboratories with regards to projects and identify issues
