Castlefield Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading public sector organisation as they look to recruit an Interim Business Support and Data Analyst join their team on a temporary contract until March 2022. It is an exciting opportunity to join a small but far reaching team who are required to deliver a professional and timely service with pace and credibility. The role will be prominently working from home however there will be occasional ad hoc travel.

Key duties;

  • Provide strategic business analysis support to the Senior Business Analystand the wider teams across SC&L, working closely to gain an in-depth understanding of the strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which SC&L operates to ensure alignment with systems and data
  • Improve and streamline processes to assist SC&L meet its objectives
  • Liaise with colleagues within SC&L to ensure the Programme Configuration library is kept up to date
  • Take responsibility for delivering expected outcomes on time and to standard, giving credit to teams and individuals as appropriate
  • Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in data and information systems and apply this to the development, execution and improvement of action plans by providing advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices.
  • Regularly monitor own and team's work against milestones or targets and act promptly to keep work on track and maintain performance
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, including leading on small projects as well as assisting others on larger more complex projects related to SC&L

Experience;

  • Ability to investigate gaps and overlaps in IT systems and processes
  • Ability to deliver results under pressure with high levels of responsibility, whilst responding constructively to challenging new ideas
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships
  • Experience of collaboration with a range of stakeholders including senior stakeholders
  • Experience in change management and change implementation
  • Experience of leveraging the principles of process mapping; using it in an agile way as an enabling step to help inform the direction of travel and to obtain senior stakeholder and team buy in
