The Role

Our client are a fast growth ecommerce business.

They are now recruiting for a talented Marketing Insight Analyst in an exciting time of change.

Sitting within the marketing team and reporting to the Head of Ecommerce and Marketing you will join an experienced data-driven team and play a pivotal role within the business. You will be a data lover, having a passion for turning data into information, information into insight and insight into business direction.

You will be responsible for owning and managing data reporting, interpretation and analysis across many areas of the business including Google analytics, Klaviyo, Netsuite, CRM, products, pricing and sales forecasting.

You will work cross functionally across teams to deliver reports, dashboards and insights which will drive business decisions. You must feel extremely confident in analysing and presenting data and demonstrating value to the senior management team.


  • Be recognised as the authority within the business for the Google Analytics platform ensuring activity is being tracked in an accurate and consistent manner
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across the business to build an automated and ever-evolving reporting suite that will help drive decision making across all the teams, turning data into insight that drive commercial decisions
  • Review tools and functionality to generate insights that support business understanding and growth
  • Create competitor analysis reports to highlight strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities
  • Understand departmental briefs, questions and challenges to develop reporting requirements and create meaningful reports
  • Interpret data and present meaningful analysis and recommendations to the wider team
  • Use data insights to optimise digital marketing and ecommerce performance, using tools such as Google Analytics, Klaviyo and Netsuite
  • Work with the CRM team to create a suite of reports to inform on customer behaviour trends to drive customer retention and customer repeat rate
  • Seek important data trends from product, category and brand sales performance
  • Analyse pricing trends and make recommendations for price increases/decreases
  • Manager weekly and monthly KPI reports and highlight key findings
  • Support with annual sales forecasting across international markets
  • Managing, maintaining and troubleshooting reporting suites and dashboards

Knowledge and Experience

  • 1+ years' experience in an analytical role
  • Experience of working within a retail or ecommerce setting
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Understanding of online reporting tools such as Google Analytics and BI systems
