As such, we require an interim Lead Data Analyst to lead the Trust's workforce reporting strategy, leveraging our Electronic Staff Record System.

Your new role
You will lead on the review, development and modernisation of workforce information reporting and analysis systems and ensure that the Trust optimizes the use of information systems to assist in workforce planning, utilisation and reporting. You will maintain the data integrity of the Electronic Staff Record and provide expert knowledge on the most effective software required. You will promote improvements and lead on the implementation of new processes for best practice. You will develop robust HR reporting systems that are responsive to changing needs and technology within the organisation. You will ensure maintained data quality of the Electronic Patient Record and ensure system interfaces are functioning to specification. You will provide regular reports on the planned workforce position against actuals, identifying and effectively communicating any trends or information that may impact on the plan to appropriate managers/teams.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have significant experience of working at a senior level in a fast pace informatics environment and hold strong statistical analysis and reporting skills within a healthcare HR environment. You will have previously worked with the NHS Electronic Staff Record system and have experience in designing, implementing and managing databases. You will have previous experience of managing teams and working to performance targets. You will have worked with Oracle databases and have an in-depth knowledge of financial reporting.
