You will enjoy leading on the planning and implementation of statistical approaches, processes and procedures whilst working with likeminded experts.

Building a knowledgebase of assessment and standards using both yours and the teams' expertise. Having meaningful and collaborative conversations across the business you will have the autonomy to implement your plans to maximum effect.

In this role you'll be:

  • overseeing and delivering a centralised 'first point of contact service' for all awarding and results data issues
  • managing the analysis, interpretation and provision of complex data
  • providing customised analyses for specific business needs and research projects
  • reviewing the requirements for statistical services in the organisation, drawing on the findings of evaluation and monitoring to ensure that delivery reflects good practice
  • representing the team on AQA groups, sharing insights to informing and supporting decision making at AQA.

You'll have:

  • ability to understand and synthesise complex, diverse, incomplete to support sound decisions and priorities, including diverse and complex regulatory requirements
  • experience of leading and supporting statistical methodologies and influencing assessment data-driven decisions
  • experience of using appropriate methodologies to deliver solutions to technical issues
  • ability to successfully motivate and develop individuals in a matrix management structure
  • experience of influencing senior internal and external stakeholders.
