Role: Location Strategy & Data Analyst

Function: Location & Commercial Strategy

Location: Dunstable

Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract- 3 months

To provide written and analytical support to the Location Strategy team, delivering research, reporting and analysis to create and maintain the Location Strategy for our hotel brands in the UK & Germany. Support the provision of competitor and market data to the business for the UK & Germany. Maintain and evolve data and databases to feed our UK and Germany brand potential modelling.

What you will be doing:

Market report preparation for the UK & Germany
Development and maintenance of the location strategy that will realise the growth potential for each of our brands for the UK & Germany
Modelling Strategic Scenarios for the UK & Germany:
Maintain our Network Planning database for the UK & Germany to ensure our database is efficient, kept up-to-date and accurate:
Support the delivery of competitor benchmarking for our hotel business for the UK & Germany:
Support the delivery of competitor insight that drives both tactical and operational actions for the UK & Germany.
Maintain and evolve 'One Source' of data for the Location Strategy Team for the UK & Germany:

Good Excel skills.
Degree level or equivalent academic qualification.
A Level Maths or equivalent
Research and report writing skills.
Numerical & verbal reasoning.
Interpersonal skills - ability to communicate with and influence across all functions in the business.
Strong analytical skills - ability to identify core issues and provide assessments grounded in compelling logic.
