We are currently working in partnership with a Manufacturing Business based in Cardiff who are looking to employ a permanent Manufacturing Data Analyst for an expansion role within the business.

The successful Data Analyst will develop and maintain KPIs for the business, working with relevant departments to create reporting and data analysis, necessary to drive the business forward.

This candidate MUST have experience of data analysis within either an engineering or manufacturing environment

Data Analyst Benefits

* £35,000 yearly salary

* Yearly bonus up to 10% of annual salary (£3,500 for this position paid each December)

Data Analyst Duties and Responsibilities

* Perform basic data analysis, identifying trends and recurring events

* Ensure that all reporting data is available for the relevant teams to review on a daily/ weekly/ monthly basis

* Work with IT to improve and streamline reporting processes

* Work with the business to develop new reports

* Ensure that all Documentation within the business is in a standardised format

* Maintain and update a document library with relevant information

* Ensure all reporting processes are clearly documented

* Additional reporting may be required on an adhoc basis

Data Analyst Essential Experience/Qualifications

* Experience within a similar role and environment (manufacturing/ engineering industry)

* Understanding of the end-to-end business processes in Distribution and Manufacturing sectors

* Experience using or maintaining Master Data within SAP

* High level of Excel skills

* Experience within creating reports

* Power BI and Access knowledge

* Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to build good working relationships across all levels of the business

* Good attention to detail, strong organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks with different priorities

* Ability to work well under pressure, both as part of the team and on own initiative.
