Marketing Data Analyst and Controller

We're looking for a Data Analysis expert to join our marketing team.

Working directly with the Chief Marketing Officer we're looking for someone who will be able to track, report and provide an analysis of marketing activities and campaigns including; spend vs. returns against its marketing plan and budget, and to be able to identify potential trends which would enable recommendations to be made on how the firm can maximise its marketing investment.

In addition the role will also be responsible for controlling and managing all internal marketing governance; ensuring that programmes of work, individual projects, marketing campaigns, all marketing planning is undertaken within the agreed frameworks and wider firm governance.

In detail the role will involve:

  • Working closely with our Finance and BI teams to provide marketing information that will enable marketing campaigns to be developed and launched and (b) to evaluate the success of marketing and BD campaigns. This will involve the development and automation of regular marketing MI analysis and reporting
  • Closely analyse marketing campaign performance; measuring inception, case value and returns against budget and previous performance, identifying patterns or discrepancies
  • Working with relevant stakeholders to identify potential opportunities to improve sales and conversion performance
  • Compiling data and findings into reports and presentations that will help internal stakeholders understand the findings and enable them to make the right business decision
  • Undertaking market analysis to study the attractiveness and dynamics of a specific market or opportunity
  • Benchmarking and tracking identified competitors, ensuring relevant information on price, product and emerging technology is made available to the wider marketing team and other internal stakeholders
  • Ensuring all marketing governance is in place and that best practice is followed throughout the development of new marketing initiatives and campaigns, ensuring that all relevant stakeholders are kept informed and up to date on developments and new initiatives/campaigns

Location wise you will be working from home for the majority of your time, but with the option of being in the office 1-2 days per week (if you want to).
