We are seeking a Marketing Data Analyst on behalf of a well-established organisation.
This is an initial 6 months contract; this is currently remote.
The client base is in Central London, and do not have confirmation of when the offices may reopen. Please note that this role will require the ability to travel to London if the office reopens.
The day rate for this role is £297.50 per day.
The Role: This role will be responsible for the development and execution of fact-based reporting and analysis to enhance decision making across the marketing function and create graphics and data visualization to tell contextualized stories for stakeholders and marketing leadership team. Someone who can analayse data and create meaningful reports to steer our leadership team and provide us with the data visuals to inform our stakeholders of progress. This role will need to look at all data, including financial data.
Job Purpose: To create actionable reporting and insights for the marketing group and to create data visualizations and narratives around progress, trends and insights for the marketing leadership team and stakeholders Principal Accountabilities: Primary work/tasks this job is supposed to perform as well outcomes to be achieved. Work with Commercial operations to understand all data sources, the connections, the gaps and the existing processes - they hold the data, Represent marketing on all commercial ops calls in relation to data and data process, push for the marketing groups needs and drive our agenda Work with the VP of Global Marketing and the Direct or Strategy to present insights and trends, uncover the stories and present the insights that will initiate conversations with stakeholders Create actionable dashboards/reports in collaboration with the marketing management team Proactively look for ways to build and enrich our data, put forward proposals for projects and investment Be the data custodian - ensure data systems and sources are available and are of good quality and as such identify and support in the resolution of data quality and integration issues Identify and flag data gaps Be a key contributor to the CDP pilot in support of the 360 customer view
Skills: The ability to analyse, model and interpret data Problem solving skills Get it done attitude, tenacity and persistence Ability to work across functions, plan work and meet deadlines Accuracy and attention to detail Strong working knowledge of excel, SFDC (including Einstein), data visualization software
Knowledge: Marketing background An understanding of digital marketing tools & techniques to drive leads & revenue An understanding of marketing data sources across digital Understanding of CRM, specifically Salesforce.com Understanding of the buyer\'s journey and customer life cycle
